I pray this morning finds each of you blessed! My focus this last year has been on Proverbs 31. The chapter that talks about how God sees us as women. My goal is to strive every day to allow Jesus to grow me into that Proverbs 31 woman. I want more than anything to be the one who people say "She fears the Lord" I want to be the one that brings people closer to God just by the way I live my life. St. Francis of Assisi once said "Preach the gospel at all times and when necessary, use words." I want my life to show my love for the Lord.
As I began to work on this website for Christian women to come together to lose weight and grow in the Lord and "restore the temple" that is our body, I meditated on Proverbs 31:17 "She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms." That Godly, that Virtuous woman does NOT lie down and cry "Oh, my goodness, what a horrible life this is, I just don't know I will make it through." She girdeth her loins with STRENGTH! Psalm 73:26 says "My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever."
Whether it be weight loss, depression, school, work or simply the trials of every day life, cling to that which gives you strength and you will make it through.
Remember Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Please let me know how I can pray for you today!
