Refrigerator - Part 2 (make it unique)

If you read yesterday's post, you learned the steps it took to make that almond colored fridge a black fridge. Today, I don't have a how-to for you. I simply have a few pictures for you. Here's what the fridge looked like when I started:And this is what it looked like yesterdayThen I took this machine and some self-adhesive vinyl and came up with this ideaand made this
The top half of the side of the fridge is a chalkboardThis is my fridge, some will love it and I'm sure some will hate it. No matter what, it's uniquely mine. There's not another one like it anywhere.

Drop a comment, let me know what you think. If I can pray for you, please let me know.

Cool frig. I never would have thought of painting and decorating a frig. I love it.

Love it. But I think the thing I came away with from this project was using foil on the handles when you painted. Never would have thought of that!

Colleen, thanks! This fridge was a blessing. It was given to us for free. When God gives you a blessing, well you have to make it the best it can be. It went from ugly to unique, from "free" to "me"!

Becky, thanks so much. I'm glad you got something from it. I can't take credit for that, though. My friend Karen suggested it when I was painting the doors to cover the doorknobs.

Love it! Great job! Love the vinyl flowers. We had to get rid of our chalkboard fridge recently. I just out and died. I miss it so much. It's nice to have something unique. The new one is nice and new so I am afraid to paint it.I am sure you will love your fridge. Thanks for visiting my blog!
